There is a new awakening in Washington Heights, in New York City, on Wednesday nights. If you pass by the Ark Lounge, at 192nd Street and Broadway, you will be delighted to know that Latin jazz is alive and kicking.

Arka Lounge is proud to be the only spot in the Heights that is presenting and promoting the fine musical Latin traditions. For several months, top quality musicians have been traveling uptown to perform there, and the word has been getting around that this is the place to be.
