Percussion great, Candido
Camero, celebrated his 79th birthday while
performing with the New Jersey City University
Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of
Robert Romeo. Also performing that night,
percussionist Changuito, trombonist Juan Pablo
Torres, On Time and the Ridgewood HS Percussion
Ensemble. On Time aka The Holmes Family, sang
a beautiful rendition of Happy
Birthday for Candido. It's great
to see that after all these years Candido
is still a great Conga player. |
