My wife, Vivianne, and I recently had the
pleasure of attending an evening of original
music, featuring bassist John Benitez, at
the Arka Lounge.
Performing with him were Little
Johnny Rivero & Luisito
Quintero on congas,
Joe Gonzalez on bongos;
and Tony Cintron on drums. Pianists Artuo
O’Farrel, and Alon Yavnai, along with
trumpeter Papo Vasquez, completed this group
of superb musicians.
