Bebo Vales conducts his 20 peice orchestra at Avatar Recording studios

Twenty outstanding Latin musicians gathered recently for rehearsal and recording sessions at the Montana Rehearsal Studios and at the Avatar Studio respectively to play the music and arrangements of the great Cuban composer, bandleader, and arranger, Bebo Valdes.

I had the privilege of attending the sessions directed by the great film director Fernando Trueba and produced by Todd Barkan. Bebo celebrated his 84th birthday on October 09, 2002.
