Perform at Arka Lounge in NYC

The new Arka Lounge is an upscale club located in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan. Each Wednesday, a Latin jazz series, thanks to the efforts of promoter Miguel Castillo, has featured some of the finest players from today's Latin music scene.

Luis Columna is a trumpet player who can play with the best. His recent appearance, at the Arka Lounge,
featured LP players Luisito Quintero on drums and Pedro Martinez on conga. Keyboardist Leo Blanco and Bassist Mario Rodriguez rounded out the quartet.

The Arka has already established a "buzz" among talented Latin musicians and this night proved the point. The great trumpet player Piro Rodriguez and LP percussionist Little Johnny Rivero came down to spend the evening playing with this great band.
