One of my favorite venues in the world is a narrow downstairs bar usually referred
to "the Zinc" - as in, "I will meet you in the Zinc." Everyone who is
anyone in hip music will be seen there. Every night brings a delightful
surprise and Hector Martignon leading the band makes it especially exciting.
Virtuoso percussionist Samuel Torres is electrifying with his ability to play
for so many kinds of music.
