The Caribbean Jazz Project, led by mallet man Dave Samuels, appeared recently at the Jazz Standard with an all-star band featuring Dafnis Prieto on drums, Dave Valentin on flute, Roberto Quintero on congas, Luis Perdomo on keyboard and Ruben Rodriguez on bass.

Cameroon bassist and vocalist, Richard Bona, along with versatile LP® artist Daniel Sadownick, who played a comprehensive battery of percussion instruments, also appeared recently at the popular club.
