The
second and third installments of the Montvale
Jams were recently held at my home in New
Jersey. The sessions provided an opportunity
for the great trumpet player Piro Rodriquez
to perform some music he had not showcased
and became part of Little
Johnny Rivero's 4th performance at SOB
in New York City on April 29, 2002.
We
also had the chance to celebrate Piro's birthday.
For this event as with so many others at my
home, my wife Vivianne prepared and incredible
meal of endless courses.
