Pedro "Pedrito" Martinez brought his team of
rumberos to New York City's SOB music club for a stunning evening of virtuoso
music featuring Pedro on vocal, conga and cajon; Marvin Diz on conga, timbale
and cajon; Mauricio Herrera on conga; Igor Arias on timbale; Panagiotis
Andreou on bass; and a group of singers including Ileana Santamaria and Cucu
Diomnates. There will be several more of these musical events led by Pedro
in the coming months. A highlight of the evening was the quinto performance
of Little Johnny Rivero.
