timbalero, Pucho
Brown, and his band, the Latin Soul Brothers,
recently brought their groove intensive style
of music to the Arka Lounge. These experienced
musicians have developed a unique style of music
that combines the best elements of Jazz, Latin,
Funk, Rhythm and Blues and even Hip-Hop.
The
band consisted of Pucho Brown on LP’s®
New Bronze Shell Tito Puente Tribute Timbales;
Tyrone Govan on drums; Santi Rivera on auxiliary
percussion, which included LP®
cowbell and clave;
Tehrin Cole on bass; Johnny Griggs on LP®
Valje Armando Peraza Series Congas; John Sprowls
on piano; and Gerald Brazel and Eddie Passant
on horns. Guest percussionist, Little
Johnny Rivero, provided auxiliary bongo on
several tunes.
